“My happiest moment happened, actually, to me really recently. Me and my mom took a trip to Blacksburg, to visit Virginia Tech, and at the end of this trip, it was like a special trip, I got an admissions decision to see if I got in or not,” Alayna Sykes, 12, said. “Virginia Tech was my top choice school and I found out that I got in, so I was really happy. [My mom] recorded a video of me opening my letter.”
