At Western Branch High School, we take notice and make awareness of important things. This past week the students and staff raised awareness of different kinds of cancer by wearing certain colors each day to bring awareness to specific types of cancer.

Monday: blue for Ovarian, Colon, Prostate, and Esophageal Cancer.

Tuesday: orange for Leukemia and Childhood Cancer.

Wednesday: purple for Pancreatic Cancer.

Thursday: green for Lymphoma, Kidney, Liver, and Adrenal Cancer.

Friday: pink for Breast Cancer, which led up to the pink out game where the varsity football team beat King’s Fork 16-14.
